Fernroyd House in Cork

Beautiful house, perfect location, best breakfast with vegan options, kind and generous hosts. Peaceful.

We absolutely love Fernroyd House. My family of 8 stayed here, occupying 4 rooms. Each room was spacious and lovely, each also having its own ensuite bathroom. The made-from-scratch breakfast (including fresh baked scones!) was delicious & the perfect way to start the day. Tony and Avril are amazing hosts. The location is great… bars & restaurants all very walkable. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Our stay at Fernroyd House was a great pleasure. The spacious and quiet room and en-suite bathroom were neat and comfortable. Breakfast was a wonderful experience with fruit and self made yogurt, freshly baked scones and delicious meals from the menu. Tony’s and Avril’s service made us perfectly happy. We will definitely return! Thank you for everything.

We visited 4 b&b’s while we were in Ireland and Fernroyd House was my absolute favourite. Tony and Avril were my favourite hosts, I wanted to go back and stay more nights with them! Tony was so passionate about Ireland and I loved that he was so engaging over breakfast. Also, the most adorable Irish accent I’ve ever heard. I could’ve listened to him talk for hours. The bed was also the most comfortable out of the whole trip, like sleeping on a cloud.
