Fibbers isnt for everyone, but its an institution for all metalheads, rockers and punks in Dublin. Its been at the heart of the alternative music scene in the city for decades; putting on gigs, club nights and events of all sorts on a near nightly basis. Its an incredibly welcoming space. Its got good beer and absolutely incredible staff. A good time is all but guaranteed (given you havnt accidentilly stumbled into a death metal gig).

Best rock bar in Dublin by far. If you're into rock, indie alternative music and vibe, head here. Open till 2:30am every day. Live music every day. Upstairs bar with the main stage hosts awesome Irish and international bands, same with the downstairs club. Massive outdoor area, smoking (incl. Weed) is brill. Loads of Pool Tables too. Staff (for me) are always excellent & friendly.

It’s definitely worth to visit this place, had amazing night out in this bar, booze is both good and not overpriced, there are lots of wonderful people and it’s easy to make a connection with someone, however it’s packed on weekends

11/10/2025: Exceptional service and food. It's a must try if you're visiting Dublin.
06/10/2025: I have visited Peploe's many times and the service, food and premises are always excellent. I had to move a booking from 8.30pm to 9pm last weekend due to a taxi being 45mins late. The staff were so helpful and accommodating. I couldn't have asked for more. After arriving flustered, I was made feel at home and the service was so good and friendly that I was put at my ease and turned a potentially stressful evening it to on of the nicest I have had in a long time. Thank you to all at Peploe's.

19/10/2025: Like an old man's pub. Very Irish and local. Mens toilets are abit rank though
11/08/2025: Lovely Irish pub, with lots of kind and friendly locals, tons of little nooks, a spacious back patio and sneak access to a large courtyard with a few tasty food trucks and a little hidden sauna. A fun find and great place for an afternoon out!
