Came here on a quiet Thursday afternoon with my elderly grandmother, mother and two young children. The service was great, the lady who served us was really friendly to the kids and helpful when we had questions.
I chose off the specials menu, roast duck with mash, veg and gravy and it was the nicest bit of food I’ve had in a while. Granny had fish and chips, great size and she had enough to take home (staff gave us takeaway tubs for my granny to heat hers up later). My mum had the bruschetta starter and onion rings as her main, everything was delicious and generous portions! The kids (and me) were delighted to see a robot delivering the food, it was a new experience for us. Kids enjoyed their food, however I think it would be good to have the option of peas, or beans or salad along with the kids menu though.
We had a really lovely meal here. I had the beef and it was so delicious. I really liked the gravy and Yorkshire pudding too.
The homemade baileys cheesecake was so light and divine.
