Finnegans in Dublin

I went for lunch there , nice pub, nice service, the food was Ok

My friend Paul Hewson recommended this pub as it’s his local. As usual, it hit the mark. Grand spot!

Great, efficient service. Lovely pints for the lads. Would benefit from food staying on later in the night. Overall prodably the best of the pubs in dalkey, well done everyone.

Many emotions felt during my visit. The food is amazing, good. The welcome is warm. it was a beautiful day, as some customers can say.😊😉. Congratulations to the whole team.

Had a lovely lunch with local friends. Enjoyed the baked cottage pie with a glass of Glenmorangie. Staff is friendly and the restaurant is located around the corner of the DART on such a cute and charming street.

Spot on wee place, definitely a stop off if your in the area, staff tremendous, lots of ales to try, lovely experience, would love to visit again if I'm over on the Emerald Isle.....

Finnegan's always a great place to go for the brilliant atmosphere in gorgeous Dalkey. No matter what evening, there's always a buzz in this lovely traditional and old fashioned pub. Certainly one to visit and close to the DART of you're travelling

Excellent Guinness, beautiful surroundings and a busy, but comfortable feel about the whole establishment. The best pub in Dalkey by a long stretch.

Just reading a few recent reviews about the poor, almost hostile service from one of the waiting staff at Finnegans. We visited today for lunch and I can confirm that this is the case. The older lady server was very abrupt when we arrived to an almost empty pub for an early lunch. We were not allowed to sit in our chosen seat but she pointed to another and told to sit there. A number of people received the same treatment who arrived after us. It was actually entertaining to watch her as she went out of her way to show that she was the "boss". Why? The food was good, love the fish pie. The local characters enjoying themselves. The sun was shining and the village of Dalkey was at it's best.
