Like this bar, i think it is an old pub here in Dalkey, and one of my favourite since years. There was a bit of wait and trouble with seating/waiting, but after we got sorted out and all was great. The food was delish, so nice, thr fish and chips highly revommend. Thank you

Finnegan’s has been in Dalkey village for many years. Serves a decent pint of Guinness. Very much a local crowd of regulars.

As ever, food and service were excellent great but the kindness of one staff member will be a lovely memory after today's visit. One of our quartet is suffering the ailments of old age and the waiter couldn't have been more helpful, respectful and it was heartwarming to witness.

18/11/2025: I do believe this was the best 3 course meal I've had in my life. I started with the garlic ciabatta which was perfectly crisp on the outside and fluffy, buttery, and garlicky on the inside. My main was the steak cooked to a perfectly rare temperature (my request) and the accompanying fries were delicious. I ended with the creme brulee and I've got to say, 10/10. Best ever. With my meal, I indulged in two glasses of the peach bellini which was very good for the price. The service was great and attentive. The atmosphere was quiet, romantic and enjoyable without being over the top boujee. 100% will eat here again if I come visit Ireland again
