Fire Steakhouse & Bar in Dublin

I can't say enough about this restaurant, I feel right at home here. Food is always beautiful and of a high standard, Brian and his team are so attentive not just to us but to all customers. I don't mind paying a little more for this experience, highly recommend. Adrian Birkett.

Fantastic meal in an elegant restaurant, everything was delicious and perfectly presented. They went to a lot of extra effort to accommodate my lactose intolerance which was highly appreciated. The steak was of course the highlight!

At this price point you expect an exceptional meal and service, we (mostly) got neither. The garden and patio dining is wonderful. You have a great garden view and an upscale vibe. While the main dining area can be loud, it ihas a great vibe as well. Where things went wrong was with our server. After we had told the hostess we wanted sparkling water, the waiter showed up and poured still. We let it go. A short while later he came back and asked for our order. There were no pleasantries, he did not introduce himself, he did not ask to take a drink order. It seemed like we were at a fast food restaurant. We ordered our drinks, appetizers, and our main course. Things went well from there until the main course came out. I ordered a medium rare steak, my wife ordered a medium well steak. The orders got reversed. My 60 euro aged 12 oz ribeye was medium well, my wife's 6 oz filet was medium rare. My wife was able to send hers back to cook it to her liking. You can't fix over cooked, and I typically like any temp even though I prefer rare, so I kept mine, not wanting them to just throw out a good aged steak. Overall my medium-well done steak was just ok. The meat was tender throughout which I think is a testament to the aging and the cut. However, it was not evenly cooked and there was a healthy amount of char that overpowered most bites. Given this is a steakhouse I expected a really well cooked steak. The manager stepped in and took over our table once my wife requested to send hers back. She was wonderful and did what she could to make our meal more enjoyable. She brought out the wonderful happy birthday dish pictured for my wife. I think we just had bad luck with an inexperienced waiter that made a mistake when placing our order and was in too much of a rush. That said the steak as cooked still did not meet my expectations.

Mixed Experience at Fire – Great Service, Disappointing Food My boyfriend and I dined at Fire last night. The venue is beautiful and the service was genuinely excellent — friendly, attentive, and professional. Unfortunately, the food didn’t live up to the same standard. We both started with the prawns, which were overcooked and chewy. For mains, I had the sirloin steak and he had the lamb cutlets — both were not only overdone, but the actual quality of the meat itself was poor. Tough, lacking flavour, and simply not what you’d expect at this price point. While we appreciated the ambiance and great service, the food fell well short. For the money we paid, we left disappointed and feeling like we could’ve had a better meal at home.

Went to Fire to celebrate our anniversary. Highly recommend, staff very accommodating and the place looks amazing. Food was lovely too!

Not only steaks are served but also fish. I ordered scallops and watercress soup- which was delicious - and my colleagues did go for steaks - very good quality of meat 🥩 and very tasty! Not to mention the interiors! Staff very friendly and quick.

Amazing place, food was really tasty and prepared to perfection 👌 Atmosphere was top notch, and interior was beautiful, very moody and chic ❤️ Definitely will be back.

Genevieve was our server and was outstanding she heard us talking about my wife's birthday on Wednesday and she surprised her with a birthday mini cake!
