From time to time I come from Dublin to Wicklow to see my parents. We already have a small tradition, once a month we come to have breakfast in a Firehouse cafe. To say we're delighted about the food is an understatement. This is my favorite place with breakfast at the moment! Food is always delicious and fresh!

The service was good, but one thing remained unclear to me. I ordered a calzone pizza, and it was the most unusual pizza I have ever tried. Besides traditional tomatoes and mozzarella it contained also cooked pork and carrots 🤯 It was something between pizza and burger 😂

Staff are always friendly. I can bring my small dog who sits under the table. The food is fresh and very good. It's hard to get a table but well worth the wait.

Actually stopped just to buy some bread, then we decided to have some coffee and cake. The Bakewell tart did not disappoint and coffee was good too. Place had a nice relaxing vibe and would not hesitate to go back.

Stopped for lunch in between bus trips. Their roast chicken sandwich was amazing, and the fries were fresh and crispy. I would definitely return the next time I’m in Wicklow.

Ernie's Bar

30/08/2024: Ernie's is a perfect pub. The team working in there are incredibly friendly and efficient at keeping the busy bar running. The locals are all just as friendly and happy to leave you to it or invite you in for chats, whatever your choice. It has a lovely dark wood and leather finish and front and back smoking areas / beer gardens. Best pub in Wicklow town (oh and you know, the pints aren't bad either :D).
26/08/2024: A superb local pub, right in the city centre, the meeting place for the locals.
