Fish Bar in Bray

We had the pleasure of spending some time in this amazing place during the Bray Air Display. We were able to watch the show and try one of the best fish and chips places around. The fish bar is part of a larger pub, they don't offer takeaway and seating is limited, but the people are so nice that they will invite you over to share a table with them. The service is quick, and the portion size was more than enough for me, not to mention the flavours, which are truly unique!

(2024) Honestly best fish and chips in a long time. Could be a few more chips. But hey I don't wanna become a fat bloke either. Fish was super delicious. (2026) Ate here a second time. And like the first time fish was just super yummy. And the portion chips was bigger this time. 😍

Whenever I’m in Bray, this is where I head for a meal. The only downside was a specific visit where the staff were surprisingly short with my dad. He took it in stride, joking that it was just part of the local charm, but the locals sitting beside us were quick to tell us that such behavior isn't normal for Ireland. Aside from that one-off encounter, I still highly recommend this spot.

It's exactly what you're looking for: friendly, cost, warm, great food, family and dog friendly and just makes for a perfect meal and place to chill while exploring the city. A must go!
