Fish Kitchen in Bantry legal town

Always so happy to go to the fish kitchen. Everything is excellent, and we are received with incredible friendliness. 3 starters to share, 1 main course each and a good walk for dessert :) Thanks again to the whole team! Florine

Looked good from the outside and the staff were quite pleasant, although didn’t once speak to us after serving our food, which is unusual in Ireland. And unfortunately the food let this place down, the chowder was quite watery and flavourless. Full of bland white fish. The worst one we’d had in 2 weeks of chowder eating in Ireland. The 1/2 ‘crab’ and salmon sandwich on the side was 99% mashed salmon with no butter on the soda bread. Nice but dry. A lovely salad accompaniment however, the carrot and sesame was great.

Excellent oysters, excellent crab soup. The service entrusted to operators with little experience. But a place with character and good quality ingredients!

Always had wonderful food here, very reasonably priced considering the quality. Staff are lovely too.

Excellent lunch. Quality and quantity! Friendly staff and great playlist (Neil Young, Supertramp, Springsteen...). I highly recommend.

Friendly staff and very tasty fish and chips

Stopped here for a quick lunch passing through Bantry and it was a wonderful decision. We were SO hungry there wasn’t any opportunity to take a picture but rest assured our plates were completely wiped clean! Must try the cajun salmon salad & their King of Kefir drinks :)

We had oysters from BantryBay, open crab sandwich, fish and chips, all very fresh, nicely presented. Everything tasted very good. We sat in the sun in front of the restaurant and ate. Thanks for the nice service.
