Went here on a particularly busy day. line was out the door and yet they still moved very quickly. fantastic selection of pastries inside and the ice cream was delicious! meant to post a picture of the ice cream before we ate it but it was too good

Amazing find. Fab place to pop into after a walk along the river. Homemade cakes & biscuits are truly amazing & tasty. Ice Cream is also worth a try.

The ice creams were amazing; especially the pistachio. It was made of real pistachio and the flavour was prevalent. The consistency was also gelato was similar. The food had a small presence of food colouring but nothing noticeable. It is however a bit inauthentic to add colouring in gelato. The service was good, very informative. Friendly staff. The atmosphere was nice, a small range of gelatos but the quality of the ice cream makes up for it. The small cafe gave off cool Italian vibes. The baked goods looked appetizing too. Overall a 4/5 or a 8/10, taking the food, service and ambience into account.

A treat...a small but well-stocked place for a good breakfast or a quick lunch. Italian products and a good espresso, something I haven't had in days.

17/06/2025: Sehr leckere, frische Meeresfrüchte und Fisch. Alle Gerichte waren sehr lecker! Zuvorkommender Service. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder! 😊
24/02/2025: Cenamos en el Seafood Café en una fría noche de febrero, cuando llegamos el lugar estaba excepcionalmente bien vestido. Hay un ambiente muy guay aquí pero también muy acogedor, buena música para acomodarse mientras tomamos nuestras bebidas. Los tres chicos de esa noche fueron geniales, puedes ver claramente que les encanta lo que hacen. Empezamos con las ostras, yo tenía la solla sobre carbón. . . . . recomiendo encarecidamente! Mi esposa tuvo la caballa con ensalada y rábano picante de nuevo muy bueno. Si estás en Dublín y te apetece un poco de marisco en un ambiente ecléctico, muy fresco pero cómodo, entonces cena aquí. No te arrepentirás.

The Ivy Dublin

01/01/2026: A group of 9 attended the Ivy over Christmas for a family birthday, 90th, the problems started from the time we arrived, the table we were given only sat 8, we were told by a manager that they were short staffed and there was nothing they could do, we had to squeeze to fit us all in. The starters and desert were lovely but unfortunately the mains were not so good. Several of us ordered the fish which was only warm, on person ordered a steak, they requested medium, but it came out blue. The sides were not delivered until most of us had finished the mains. The young waiter who served us was very nice, attentive and apologised to us from the time we sat down. I have been at the Ivy several times before, as had another member of the party and unfortunately after this experience we will not be returning.
31/12/2025: Lovely evening out with the girls. The Ivy is always very mindful of my shellfish allergy
