Love the food here, but (big but) the service needs attention. The girl serving on the Saturday day time had a fair amount of sass about her, and seemed annoyed when we asked for cutlery. You are offering a take out service, of course people will be wanting knives and folks!
Best seafood tapas, grear spot in Downings next to the Harbour bar. Busy bustling atmosphere. Small indoor seating and additional seating outside. We really enjoy this spot and reasonably priced. Highly recommend if you’re in the area.
What an amazing find, so good we went the twice in the past week. The menu offers something for everyone, however if you are a sea-foodie you must visit. It’s a quirky little restaurant seating 10,to 12 customers, they also serve to the adjacent Harbour Bar ( which is also a great Irish pub).
We managed to try; prawn dumplings (absolutely amazing), oysters (fresh, and the best value I have seen in Ireland), cod and chips (soo tasty), scampi and chips (also best we had in Ireland) and of course mussels (from mulroy bay just a few miles away). We intend to return and finish trying anything we missed on this visit. Absolutely excellent establishment with incredible value for money.
