Flipside in Sligo

We went to Flipside in Sligo and had a great experience. The burgers were fresh, crispy and full of flavour, and it was clear that they use high quality ingredients. The menu has a nice selection, and it was easy to find something we liked. The fries were crispy and everything came out hot. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the place has a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere that makes for an enjoyable meal. Overall, a great place if you want tasty burgers and good service in Sligo.

While the vibes were immaculate — think cool tunes, friendly staff, and a laid-back atmosphere 🎶🍔 — the food didn’t quite live up to the buzz. From the moment you walk in, the energy is palpable, with upbeat music and a bright, modern dining room. The menu is a masterclass in burger craft, built on a foundation of high-quality, locally sourced meat. Classic beef options are juicy and perfectly cooked, but the creativity truly shines in their other offerings. "The Dictator," a buttermilk-fried chicken burger with fiery gochujang mayo, is a standout, delivering a flawless combination of crunch and heat. They also earns high marks for its inclusive menu. Vegetarians and vegans are genuinely catered for with inventive options like "The Gamechanger," which features a black bean pattyWe ordered the Dictator burger from the non vegetarian section and the Gamechanger from the veggie section 🌱. They both looked great, but taste-wise, they were just okay nothing so special that you would love to for more and more — atleast not the best burgers we’ve had. For the price, it was a bit disappointing that fries had to be ordered separately as it doesn't come along with the burger🍟💸. On the bright side, their house-crafted beer was a standout 🍺 — smooth, flavorful, and definitely worth trying if you're into local brews. It’s the kind of place where you’d go more for the hangout than the food. It’s a beautiful burger joint !! I am glad we bumped into this place while in Sligo. The interiors are pretty amazing - very vibrantly lit and decorated !! The staff were very cordial, active, and kind. They did their best to make sure that we are comfortable and enjoying our dinner. We are vegetarians so ordered both the veg burgers - gamechanger and pesto AND one of the salads - pesto. Everything was delicious and freshly cooked. We really liked the taste. Just a small feedback regarding the salad - it will be great if we can make it more healthy (since it’s salad), with less sauces and salt 😅 But that’s maybe a personal preference. Overall we really liked the place and would strongly recommend it to anyone who’s in Sligo. Will visit again :) Thank you 🙌🙏

Nice american restaurant with AMAZING BURGERS.... it was really very delicious.. I can eat this every day... very very good.. personal were very friendly always with smile...its very busy perfect place for tasty food...

Awesome place! The service is super nice and friendly, and you don't have to wait long for food or drinks. The veggie burgers and vegan burgers were great, and the rosemary fries were something different and very good. Kids get free soft serve ice cream, which I think is cool.

Busy and lively popular spot. We were walk ins and got a table easily enough on a Wednesday early evening but there was a queue when were we’re leaving. Friendly and efficient staff. Had burgers all round with fries, beer and milkshake. Probably one of the nicest juiciest burgers I’ve had.
