Food Guru in Rathangan

I cannot stop thinking of this shawarma. It is hands down the best I’ve had in my life. The chicken shawarma and gyro were excellent. The falafel was good but not great like the other two. I was only in the area on holiday; so I don’t know when I will be back but if you’re in the area, it’s the dinner I would eat over and over (and I was in Maynooth for a few weeks and tried most everything else around). I don’t know about all the bad reviews, but that wasn’t our experience. We got Indian food too and it was just so so but not bad. Our shawarma portions were huge (could share with two people for sure) and delish!

Great food and fast service! I ordered dhansak and raita for delivery directly from the restaurant's website, and it arrived super fast and was absolutely delicious.

The food is very tasty and fresh, I will definitely go again. I didn't like the service 4 out of 5.

I don’t understand the negative reviews here. I’ve been to Food Guru 13 times and, while I don’t order a huge variety, the dishes I’ve tried are the best around. Their main competition in my opinion was Big Bites which unfortunately closed recently so this is the best place around if you are in Leixlip. Occasionally, there’s a slight issue with the timing of collection, but it’s not enough to warrant less than 4 stars. Their specialty is American and Turkish food, not Indian, so I recommend sticking to those options.
