Frank's Place 1860 in Wexford

I was totally surprised by this place.I have walked passed many a time and thought it was just a coffee shop,but how wrong was I. Had a lovely Sunday lunch here,food was excellent. Not just your average menu. Choice was varied and tempting. Worthy of a retry.

Stop in for hot chocolate and a desert on a cold day. Nicest hot chocolate you would get anywhere.

On an early Sunday Morning, I was interested in locating a quality breakfast place and Frank’s Place was near my hotel and this was an excellent choice…The French Toast and Americano Coffee were chosen and the staff were very welcoming and friendly…this was a restaurant with many cozy seating locations inside the Restaurant…Highly recommended…

Brilliant staff. Had an amazing Birthday with family. Will definitely be going back. Ian was very attentive and made sure everyone enjoyed the evening. I can highly recommend this venue.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The food at Frank’s Place 1860 in Wexford is absolutely fantastic! Everything on the menu looked so tempting, and everything we ordered was delicious. I had the seafood chowder, while my partner had the soup of the day — both accompanied by phenomenal bread. For mains, I had the open sandwich, and my partner enjoyed a pasta dish. The food was bursting with flavor, beautifully presented, and the portions were excellent. While the atmosphere wasn’t particularly standout, could well have been the time of week/day that we were there, the quality of the food more than made up for it. If you’re after a great meal, Frank’s Place 1860 is definitely worth a visit!

It might be helpful if the counter staff knew what was in the sandwiches......

Great food and service, great hospitality

This was one of the few places that were open on Sunday noon. The doughnut with strawberry and cream looked great and tasted great, and the coffee was nice too! The service was fast, and we generally had a good second breakfast on a lazy Sunday afternoon, sitting by a window and drinking coffee with pastry.

The atmosphere was lovely but I got a croissant and it was stale, so I couldn’t eat it. The staff were lovely!
