Franzini O'Briens in Trim

We visited Flambé as a family of six to celebrate our son's Junior Cert results and wanted to go somewhere a little special. It was our first visit, although it most definitely won't be our last! I have to say, I'm genuinely surprised there aren't queues out the door of this place. What a fantastic restaurant! The exterior is gorgeous, and when we stepped inside, it didn't disappoint. The interior is just beautiful, so tastefully done, and the whole place has such a lovely, welcoming feel to it. The staff, without exception, were absolutely lovely. Friendly, helpful and attentive, and I honestly couldn't fault a single one of them. Now, as for the food, well, I really don't think words can do it justice! We eat out quite regularly, and I can honestly say this was the nicest meal we've had out in a very long time. Everything was so fresh, the portions were plentiful, the presentation was beautiful, and the taste of every single dish was just gorgeous. There were six of us, all having different things, and not one of us could find a single fault with anything. It really was that good! And then there's the price! €35 for a three-course early bird menu. What incredible value for money, especially considering the quality and the amount of food we were served. Honestly, I don't know how they do it. Something else I wanted to mention, because I really appreciated it, was that there was no service charge automatically added to our bill. As a family of six, we're so used to this happening that it was genuinely refreshing to be left to decide ourselves what we wanted to tip. We went out hoping for a lovely meal to celebrate a special occasion, and we couldn't have picked a better place. We will most certainly be back, and I suspect it'll be sooner rather than later! A huge thank you to every single member of staff. You're an incredible team, and I really hope this restaurant gets the recognition it deserves. If you haven't been to Flambé in Trim yet, you're missing out on something really special! Thank you.

Food was excellent and it was very family friendly but the service was exceptionally slow. Felt like they just completely forgot about our main courses for a while. The staff were really nice and talked to the kids etc so not really sure what happened. Only one man who seemed to be an owner or manager seemed very flustered and rushed.

We were here at a family celebration, food was gorgeous really enjoyed the day. I had steak and it was cooked perfectly which is hard to get nowadays!

Such a great vibe at this restaurant! Lovely, engaged staff and great food. Ioana was our server and made excellent recommendations based on what we liked. We had a pizza, mushroom soup and cheesecake, and everything was superb. The cheesecake especially was absolutely delicious! We sat outside with our dog with Trim Castle as the backdrop. Just perfect!

We stopped at Flambé after exploring Trim and had a really nice experience. We had our dog with us, so the dog-friendly outdoor seating was perfect, especially with the great view of Trim Castle. Our server, Ioana, was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and we had a lovely chat with her as well. Good food, beautiful setting, and genuinely friendly service — definitely a nice place to stop when visiting Trim.

Fabulous food. Recommend pizza takeaway. Very fresh and tasty.

The food was really beautiful ! Portion sizes were amazing, they were actually too big for me personally but I was just as happy to bring food home with me. It was way too good to leave behind ! Lots of variety on the menu to suit everyone. I will definitely be back !

Fantastic meal here today. Bith pasta dishes, 1 with seafood 1 with chicken. Lots if seafood in the dish, cooked perfectly, arrabiata beautifully spiced.And plenty of 8t. Desserts fab and coffee perfect..quiet during the day. But this place is good value for money and great tasty food..would highly recommend

Very decent food, including competent pizza, great arrancini and good kids options. Professional and friendly service as well as classy interior. Located opposite Trim castle - perfect for lunch after the tour.
