It's a well known traditional Irish bar in Gorey main street. Always packed for the Thursday night traditional music session. Friendly, pleasant atmosphere. Could do with a deep clean.

This is a really nice pub and I believe has a loyal clientele. I have only been there twice, but on both occasions the Guinness did not taste good despite some reviews to the contrary. Perhaps it was just unlucky timing, but some pubs can manage to always have good or great Guinnes (Gravediggers).

09/11/2024: What a fabulous restaurant! Despite the limited menu I still struggled to decide what dishes I wanted - I wanted them all! We had 3 courses each and every single plate was perfection. My husband chose the signature fillet steak for his main course and it did not disappoint. The smoked bacon jam should be sold in jars! There is a small but excellent wine list too. The quality of food was matched by the service, with Mark expertly looking after every diner on the floor. He was attentive without being intrusive and despite being so busy remained calm and pleasant throughout. The whole experience was wonderful and we will definitely return.

Ipoh Restaurant

01/11/2024: We booked the table for 5pm and were nearly the first ones there. The service and friendliness of the waitresses and waiters is impeccable. They put you at ease and care a lot. The customer service is top notch. The food is scrumptious and delectable. Both Joe and I absolutely adore the food there. Brilliant value for money. I highly recommend it to children/adults who have PKU, vegetarians, coeliacs, and meat eaters.
14/07/2024: We have been to this restaurant many times and it is our most favourite in Gorey. Joe ordered Lettuce cup for starters and peppercorn chicken for main. I had my usual vegetarian spring rolls and sweet n sour mixed veg with chips. The service was impeccable and the level of customer service impressive. We love the Ipoh!
