Raspberry Restaurant in Gorey

A bit of mixed reaction to Raspberry, I had visited Raspberry before and found it to be a fabulous restaurant. Last night however I came away a little disappointed, I ordered a fillet steak medium and it arrived at the table bone dry and well done. I think if you are charging €44.00 for a steak the chef should know how to prepare it. The starters, crab claw and prawn salad were fine and my partner enjoyed her duck, My partner and I had picked Raspberry to celebrate an occasion based on our past experience so we left a little disappointed. That said the service was excellent and the staff very apologetic offering me an alternative which although very appreciated was not ideal. The restaurant was very busy so I can only hope that the quality of steak is not the norm. I will give Raspberry another chance as I do understand that we can all have an off night.

Brilliant across the board. I've been five or six times over the past year, beautiful food, top class cocktails, excellent service. Nothing to complain about whatsoever.

What a place! We had such a wonderful evening at Raspberry and genuinely couldn't fault a thing. The restaurant is run incredibly well and the staff are some of the best we have ever experienced. A special mention has to go to Cyndi, who was absolutely amazing. She was so warm and attentive, explained the menu brilliantly and really looked after us throughout the evening. We were celebrating my mum and dad's anniversary and she helped make it feel genuinely special. The food was absolutely divine. Everything we had was delicious and beautifully presented. The restaurant itself is gorgeous too, with beautiful decor and such a lovely atmosphere. Honestly, the only thing I could possibly suggest they improve is making the Basque cheesecake bigger — it was far too good for the portion to end so quickly! 😂 From the food to the service and the surroundings, it was just a wonderful meal from beginning to end. We would 100% come back again. I just wish we had places like Raspberry back home in England! Highly, highly recommended

This was the best restaurant experience I have had in a long time. The food was amazing(I had seafood cocktail and the duck) with big portions, the service was also great (friendly, very prompt and we weren't rushed after finishing our meal) and great value. I would definitely return.

Absolutely LOVED! the special on tonight! Attended to by the wonderful staff as always, followed by our usual dessert of cocktails!

Raspberry Restaurant has excellent food, service and cocktails👌🏻We’ve been there for celebrations with a family group and as a couple in the last month. Fish, meat, vegetarian all delicious. Sea bream, pork belly, cauliflower, Tosada’s all excellent. The starter platter for sharing is excellent. The service is on point and non-intrusive. They have an early bird menu & summer specials available too. We’ve loved their surprise gift of a celebration dessert for special occasions. One of our favourites for dinner.

Excellent service and delicious food

Cindy was incredible - what a beautiful meal with wonderful service. I was shocked to see so many amazing reviews but honestly this place really is worth it. Very generous portions, great selection of dishes, fantastic attentive friendly service, honestly I could not fault it. We will most definitely be back!

Very good menu, excellent steaks and great selection of alcoholic and non alcoholic cocktails. Not a cheap night out but it's a great experience and a lovely environment
