I have not tried the food, but I imagine it would be typical bar food. I like the welcoming presence and friendly nature of the bartenders/workers. The first time I was there, I was sober and had a good time; the second time I was there, I was blatantly drunk and they turned me down, yet showed me hospitality. Based on their professionalism, I think they are a 5β˜†. You should go to this bar to have a fun time. I'm not good enough at 8-Ball, but this is a great place to play 8/9 Ball. Try it!

Awesome Walls Cork

03/04/2024: Lovely staff who greet you and he'll you with what you need. They give a detailed overview of the facility and what it offers. They are attentive and nice. I like the variety of levels available. I've only gone bouldering so that's what I can comment on. They changed the routes enough and have challenges and completions happening regularly. Really casual and welcoming atmosphere with other climbers. There are two couch areas where you can relax and meet other climbers and take a break. The facility offers some drinks for sale, as well as tea and hot chocolate, and snacks and muffins. The facility also includes lockers, but bring your own lock if you want to lock it. There's a workout space upstairs away from the walls where you can do any kind of exercise, and they include a lot of climber-specific things. Also weights, two stationary bikes, foam rollers, and exercise mats. Of course they also have climbing gear for sale and rent. I recommend going in the day if possible, if you like a quieter climb. Naturally, there are more people in the evening. Everyone is respectful. I think for some it might be a pricier activity, but if you're a regular climber it's worth it (either subscription or monthly subscription). If you give them a call , they're helpful and can explain it all. Make sure to call before your first visit so you can get booked in for an induction visit.
27/03/2024: Great stuff, challenging walls and my teenage daughter loves going with her friends.
