Fantastic food reasonably priced and great service will definitely go again

The food is beautiful done and a good portion. The services is super and nice atmosphere. I really recommend Friel's of straffan.

Fast service, very good food & lovely staff

We ate in Friels of Straffan for the 1st time on Wednesday evening August 20th. The service from the very start to the very was exceptional! We were treated so nicely by a lovely Lady Jenny I think was her name (lady with red hair). I got chatting and advised that it was my daughters birthday that day and they couldn't have made it more special after a beautiful meal, we got steak sambo, curry and lots more Jenny and another lady with blonde hair I believe her name was Rosemary came out with a beautiful dessert for my daughter with candles and every ang Happy Birthday. It made it very special indeed. We will 100% be back to friels more regularly the staff and food made the place feel like home from home. Thank you to thr ladies who looked after us so so well.😊

Unfortunately I didn't get to stay overnight in my motorhome but staff when very helpful. Maybe next time I'm in the area 🤞🏻

I Called at weekend and chicken was delicious . So I opted to try again during week. Awful disappointed. Thd chicken came in a slice which was tough and tasteless. I was a bit taken back how the standard could of dropped in such a short time. The veg and potatoes were excellent. But where ever they sourced this chicken from is nothing short of disgusting. So maybe they focus on weekend and during week just come up with what ever goes.

Nice place to stop on the side of the road during a busy day. The staff were very welcoming and attentive.
