Fureys in

Got a steak sambo. Steak was cooked perfectly and was very tasty. For 23 euro however the steak itself was on the small size. Definitely not worth the price they charged for it. The salad was a bit dull and chips were decent. A small side order of pepper sauce with the sambo wld be a nice accompaniment. Lady who served us was very welcoming and friendly.

Fureys Bar is a traditional Irish pub and restaurant. My "go-to" stop for a great burger and pint when on the road. Friendly staff, picturesque canal setting, and congenial vibe. Plenty of parking. Open generally from around midday to early evening. Family friendly. Take a walk along the canal if you have time.

The place is historic and certainly beautiful to visit, but the food is quite average and the service is extremely slow. We ordered the restaurant's namesake burger, requesting it rare, but it arrived well-done. We would have complained, but we didn't have time (it took them over 30 minutes to bring three burgers). The best thing about it was the beer.

Family get together evening dinner in Fureys.All that we expected and more.Great food,good service, fantastic atmosphere and fair price.Highly recommended and we will be back.
