Gallagher's Cork in Cork

I walked in without a reservation and this was one of the best Irish meals I’ve had in Cork. I went dir a late lunch and the menu didn’t include Bangers and Mash except for on the kids‘ menu. The waitress asked the chef to make it an adult portion for me. It was great but paled in comparison to her extra effort to create a wonderful experience. I also ordered the Tres Leches for desert and it also exceeded expectations. I should also mention that I attempted to walk in the night before and was told they were all full and could not serve me. This did not deter me because he was so professional and nice about. So glad I went back.

My first fish & chips in Ireland and I wasn’t disappointed. As it’s my first time trying this dish I can’t compare it but it was still tasty!

Had booked ahead for an evening meal with the family. I had the katsu curry, she had the chicken supreme, and the kids had burgers. Food was excellent, service was great. Highlights were the white chocolate espresso martini and one of the children loved the burger (the other child is a teenager, the word ‘love’ is too expressive). Very popular and we saw people being turned away on a Monday night so would recommend booking.

Best beef and stout pie I have ever had. I will crave it when I go back home.

We took the paddy wagon tour out of Dublin. They recommand this place and order ahead so we would have more time in town. Food and table was ready when we came in.

We made a reservation and we were lucky we did - the place was packed and a lot of walk ins got turned away or asked to wait a while. Our server, Ellie, was so lovely and welcoming! She checked in on us several times during the meal, always with a big smile! We had the signature pie and the fish pie - both were amazing! The signature pie was rich and hearty, the gravy was stunning, and there was lots of filling. The fish pie was creamy and also filled to the brim! We also had the white chocolate espresso martini and the banana bread old fashioned. Really interesting twists on classic drinks! Overall it was a 10/10 experience, and a must when you're in Cork!

Food, while the flavor was good, was served luke warm. I highly recommend the banana bread old fashion though

Big Portions good service and the Football match was on! Go Mayo!

This was a lovely place with wonderful service and food. The beef roast was melt in your mouth. The owner Noreen was a gracious hostess!

I orderer the fish and chips, my partner ordered the meat pie... incredible 🤯🤯 A bit expensive but worth it!
