Galway Golf Club in Galway

Here for a lunch with friends. Food top class. Golf competition going on that day. Having a drink afterwards were moved around, told where not to sit by those in blazers. Staff very good and friendly and for food alone it's recomended. However, if going to dine, make sure no golf competition taking place. Otherwise, the blazers call the shots. Back here again as last year, Top class.

Challenging and difficult course in a sublime seashore setting. You can taste the salt air! Mind the west wind impacting play on a good number of holes. Impeccably maintained. Good scoring opportunities on 11 and 15. A tough run for the ladies on 5 through 7, each one a par 5 making par at 37 for the ladies on the front 9. David the Pro is a fine gentleman who will enjoy chatting with you about golf and other important issues. Members were all friendly greeting me, knowing that I was not “from here.”

The food was good but coffee was bad.Staff were nice. Lots of parking spaces and great views of the sea.

Great days golf today with the Millennium Society, what an unbelievable course ye layed out it was up der with anything else I've ever played on 👏👏👏 the only down side to the Day was after our round of golf when we went to have a pint or 2 and something to eat 2 of my playing partners wer refused entry to the bar because they were wearing Flip Flops and were told that the members might not like to see that which was a little bit disappointing tbh

Super course. In fantastic condition. A serious challenge. Great food in the clubhouse
