Gastro 101 Grill in Naas legal town

Ate here on Wednesday evening. Not only am I aware of the fact that this restaurant used to be a McDonald's but I can recall going through the door in the restaurant that goes upstairs to the toilets and up until coming back downstairs to the restaurant from the toilet, I still felt like I was in McDonald's which shows that in terms of everything, this restaurant has not put in 100% effort to show that it is 100% nothing like McDonald's. Dessert and starter were satisfactory, as for how much I paid for my pizza, I did expect it to be of a high standard but it definitely needs improving.

We were early for our booking, but the place was empty. Lovely full bar and so we relaxed with drinks. My husband had a lovely pizza and I had fish and chips. My chips were fresh and hot, but unfortunately my fish was lukewarm in a soft non crispy batter. Definitely not cooked fresh. It arrived on top of a spread of mushy peas which were dried out, so the fish had a soggy bottom. Raging I didn’t say anything, but I actually wasn’t that hungry. I wouldn’t order again and certainly not at that price. We were let down.

Loved the vibe here! The slow-cooked chicken burger was amazing — and halal, which made it even better. Honestly, I was so hungry I couldn’t even stop to take pictures 😅 The manager was super friendly and even kindly offered me a separate space to pray, which I really appreciated. 5 ⭐ to this place — highly recommended!

The food was acceptable, but nothing special

Really enjoyed our time in Gastro. Family food, well cooked and great service. The vibe was good for an early Saturday evening. Would be great for a family birthday or social event.

I came here and ordered a pizza a burger a calamari platter two ice cream’s and garlic bread I loved everything i love both your restaurants the food was great new second favourite restaurant
