A very traditional, cozy bar with an open fire and set in spectacular surroundings. I feel the giant TV screen hanging from the ceiling detracts from the overall ambience but in my experience this is the norm for most Irish bars,

Really cost and full of characters. I heard the Guinness was great. I was driving so I can't comment on that. Gift shop opposite is really nice as well. Scenery is unreal in the area. Definitely worth seeing.

Traditional Irish Pub in the middle of the mountains. Peat/ log fire burning. Lovely athmosphere.

Great old school pub, serving to tourists and locals alike. Great Guinness and smell off the open fire. On street parking. No restaurant or food service.

A true village pub right on the main drag in Leenaun. We really enjoyed just sitting at the bar, watching the Olympics, and sipping the perfect pint.

Gaynors bar. Nice pint of Guinness and a nice pint of hop house and a cracking bowl of soup with amazing bar staff and a nice atmosphere. I'll be back.

The Speckled Door

22/10/2024: Very good time at this restaurant! I recommend, the soup is delicious, the mussels and the fish too. We were there with our 2 year old daughter, and everything went very well! Go there with your eyes closed!
13/10/2024: Best pint of Beamish! Beef roast of the day was outstanding!
