A lovely place to eat after visiting the entire fjord area. Pleasant atmosphere and attentive, efficient staff. The menu may not be extensive, but the sandwiches are delicious and the Guinness, as always, is exceptional. There are plenty of tables and a large outdoor terrace, and everything is very clean. Easy parking nearby. 100% recommended.

We parked in town and had a great night here speaking to the owner between waves of groups coming through. Definitely the best Irish coffee we’ve had and the best craic of our trip thus far.

Big thanks to Sarah who helped me clean myself up after a fall nearby. An absolute star! She immediately went to get me some things from the first aid kit and ice to stop my swelling. She was so kind and made me feel so much better. Thanks so much Sarah!

01/03/2026: Randomly came across this place. What a lucky find we'll certainly back
31/01/2026: We booked a table for 2 people and our little jack russell. We were made feel very welcome even though it was very busy , we got a very spacious table and our dog was offered a bowl of water. The service, quality and flavour of the food was 10/10. The steak on the stone was unreal. It's the best dog friendly restaurant we have been to. We would highly recommend the grill shack and we will definitely be back again soon.

I went in there a dozen of ti.es and will keep this place close to my heart ❤️. Ver but very competitive prices with tasty 😋 😊 food always. Keep the standards up, nice people thank for your work 🙏 😊
