Gearóidín’s Restaurant and Catering in Clonakilty

Great fresh food, friendly service, excellent coffee. The shop layout is very unusual for a cafe/retail outlet. Seating on tall stools for maybe 8 people other, lower height tables, used to merchandise and display goods for sale. We were in Gearoidins for 25 minutes during which time 12 tourists (4 couples & 1 family of 4) came in, looked for a seat, none to be found and left without buying anything. I can only think that the business aims more for the takeaway trade (including what appeared to be excellent full roasts dinners) than in cafe diners. Well worth a visit (if you can find a seat)
