Geary's Bar in Rathluirc (or charleville)

Absolute gem in Charleville. We were passing through as tourists from the U.K. The staff were so warm and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. Authentically Irish and full of character. It was pouring with rain outside and it was so cosy and warm in there pub/restaurant. The food was delicious, piping hot and my partner also enjoyed his Guinness. Thanks so much! Would recommend.

It’s rare these days to come across the kind of genuine, customer centred service you find here. The food is excellent, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the pints are mighty. A huge thank you to all the crew for such a wonderful time.

Tried the wine tasting event that was organised last week, Paul was very informative & knew exactly what he was talking about. A great evening was had, hope there’s another one organised in the future.

A very quaint pub/restaurant steeped in history. The atmosphere is charming and welcoming, as are the staff. Unfortunately, we happened to be there on "pizza night," which for us Italians is always a curse. So I don't think it's fair to review the food. Everything else was perfect.

Lovely pub with great service, very tasty food (including a great kids menu) and friendly atmosphere. We found our visit for dinner for a family of 4 to be good value and very enjoyable. Thanks for a lovely visit!

I would give this pub a 7 stars for atmosphere if I could! Very friendly, nice food, excellent and funny staff. We were given a "Guinness pouring course" and it was hilarious. Also, very good food at lunchtime and fantastic selection of beers.
