Geary's Bar in Rathluirc (or charleville)

Absolutely had the best experience here. Food was great and we were really well looked after. Kids menu is very good.

A very quaint pub/restaurant steeped in history. The atmosphere is charming and welcoming, as are the staff. Unfortunately, we happened to be there on "pizza night," which for us Italians is always a curse. So I don't think it's fair to review the food. Everything else was perfect.

Tried the wine tasting event that was organised last week, Paul was very informative & knew exactly what he was talking about. A great evening was had, hope there’s another one organised in the future.

Lovely pub with great service, very tasty food (including a great kids menu) and friendly atmosphere. We found our visit for dinner for a family of 4 to be good value and very enjoyable. Thanks for a lovely visit!

I would give this pub a 7 stars for atmosphere if I could! Very friendly, nice food, excellent and funny staff. We were given a "Guinness pouring course" and it was hilarious. Also, very good food at lunchtime and fantastic selection of beers.

Geary's is simply superb. Excellent food. Fast and, above all, friendly service. You receive a very warm welcome. We visited twice in five days. Once with a group and once on our own. An absolutely fantastic place. If we are in the area again, we will definitely be returning to Geary's. We look forward to seeing you again.

While visiting Charleville for work, our hosts took us there for lunch and later for an evening experience, during which we were taught how to pour the perfect pint of Guinness. All the staff were very friendly, especially the bartender who led the “course,” and of course the owner, who was there helping to evaluate our efforts. It's a great place to visit, so make sure you pop in if you're in the area. Sláinte!

Great place for food and entertainment. Went there with a group of fifteen visitors for lunch and returned in the evening for a Guinness pouring experience. Carina and her staff were really welcoming. Highly recommend the Guinness experience if you have visitors to entertain.
