Genting Thai in Killarney

Had such a wonderful experience here last night. Walked in to a brilliant looking restaurant straight off the bat, great atmosphere and buzz for a rainy Wednesday night. The decor and cleanliness off the restaurant was perfect. We were greeted instantly and shown to our table. The service was brilliant, the wait staff were very good at their jobs and very attentive. The menu had excellent choice and everything you'd want from a Thai restaurant. The food came nice and quick but was the perfect temperature and nice and fresh. One of the best curries I've had in Ireland, really enjoyed it. The prices were great too, fantastic value. Thank you Genting for a great meal and service, will 100% be back.

The blue ceiling lights and plants are stunning to look at, with such a calm atmosphere to enjoy food in. I love the delicious mix of spice AND taste together, rather than having to pick one or the other in a different restaurant. Also, this place has sparked a love of cashews in me that I didn't know I had Lovely staff also, pretty funny and happy which add to the nice environment!

We recently visited Genting Thai Restaurant for a meal before attending a show, and it turned out to be a delightful experience. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed, and the service throughout the meal was great; attentive, friendly, and efficient. The food was a pleasant surprise, exceeding our expectations in both flavour and presentation. The crispy beef and duck dishes were our favourite but special mention to the prawns as these were lovely and fresh. The menu offered a great variety, ensuring there was something to suit everyone in our group. The restaurant is well decorated but I feel more could be done to improve the atmosphere. The price was very reasonable for the quality and service provided. We very much enjoyed our meal and would recommend to anyone.

Food was good with a lovely atmosphere but service is very poor. We were not offered desert menu when we asked for one after about 15 mins the waitress forgot about us again. Poor service

The decor of the place is exclusive and atmospheric. The service was very nice, smiling and efficient. Very tasty dishes. I highly recommend it.

This was a lovely find in the heart of Killarney. Great spot for Thai food and the service is really quick. I really enjoyed chatting with the staff who were very approachable and welcoming, Avril in particular was lovely to speak to. In terms of food, they have a vast menu and offer a variety. They split their menu by seafood, chicken, beef, pork and vegetarian dishes (mains). Just a tip, you’ll have to order rice with the main separately. I particularly enjoyed the seasme chicken in the starters and beef with black pepper sauce. They also have desserts and drinks on the menu. Lovely experience at Genting Thai. Would definitely recommend.
