Very nice restaurant. Great service, in particular from Robert and Adrian. The table d’hôte menu was delicious and we really enjoyed the evening. It’s not cheap but I think the prices were fair for the quality of the food and venue. The staff were particularly friendly and added to the evening.

Allergic persons may not receive full value here. The food was delicious but for the dessert and petit four items the re was no substitution offered like other fine dining locations I enjoyed in Ireland. Even if it had been fruit, an offering so I could have experienced all courses I paid for would have been very nice. The beets, watermelon gazpacho and cheese soufflé were wonderful. I did not get offered any option for the dessert or petit four course. I did enjoy the hot tea. Had I been offered anything (even sliced fruit) this would have been a 5.

This was booked by my partner as a belated birthday gift for me. We had stayed at Ashford Castle many years ago, and thought we would visit again for a special dinner. I can honestly say this was the best meal I have ever had in UK or Ireland. The hotel, staff, service and the food and drink were exceptional. Many thanks to everyone at Ashford for a very special experience. Alison & Graham.

Supermac's & Papa John's

04/11/2024: Good service station with a fast charger and clean toilets
27/10/2024: Good food but when I went today I ordered a Papa’s Pepperoni (double pepperoni, double mozzarella) add jalepeno and red pepper flakes and when I returned to my hotel there was no pepperoni, just jalepeno and red pepper flakes. Not a big deal so I just went back to the restaurant and let them know what happened and what I had ordered and they got started on a new one. This one I made sure to check on in the store and they had made me a single pepperoni, jalepeno, orange pepper slices, and red pepper slices pizza with no red pepper flakes. Of course I wanted to get the pizza that I ordered 40 mins prior and payed for but the workers appeared annoyed when I started to explain that it was once again wrong so I just left. The pizza was great just absolutely not what I ordered and I was disappointed with the service :(

30/09/2024: The service was timely. I ordered fish and chips and it was excellent and quite a large serving. No complaints.
11/09/2024: Was seated by Owen our host and shown menu as one is celiac . Ordered Roast Beef which was served with gravy on the side . Tender meat and plenty vegs. Huge portions , hot and fresh with choice of potatoes and chips. Owen checked if all was ok and was most helpful.
