Gin Ban in Kells

The restaurant and takeaway are absolutely great. The food is freshly prepared — I asked to have one ingredient removed from my dish, and they had no problem doing it. It was definitely not pre‑prepared and reheated. The waiting time was around 15–20 minutes. The portions were hot and generous; in many other places, you would get about 30% less for the same price. Highly recommend — 100%!

Granted it’s a Saturday and Valentines, but food took 2h 15 minutes to come. It has arrived hot but salt & chilli spice bag is purely salt. Food arrived quickly after I called around the 2 hour mark. Not sure I’d order again

⭐⭐⭐ I have no complaints about the food – it is always tasty and good quality. However, there are frequent issues with delivery time. When ordering, it says the food will arrive in one hour, but in reality it often takes around an hour and a half, even though we live very close – about 0.5 km from the restaurant, and Kells is a small town. I have noticed that when I call and raise a complaint, the order is delivered within 5 minutes, so the issue is clearly not the distance. It would be great if the delivery times were more accurate and respected

It was my first time ordering from this takeaway and my god I really wasn't disappointed!! I ordered the fillet beef with green peppers & onion in black bean sauce, egg fried rice and chips. Everything tasted beautiful, very homemade and not greasy. I had a 20min drive past Clonabreny, the food was still hot and the chips weren't soggy either when i arrived home! I will always come back here for my takeaways instead of going the whole way to Navan. Happy Christmas to you all and see you all again soon 🥳

I recently had a party catered by Ginban, and it was absolutely fantastic! All the dishes arrived piping hot and perfectly prepared, you could really taste the freshness. The portion sizes were generous, and everyone left full and happy. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and professional throughout the entire process, making everything effortless on my end. On top of all that, the value was outstanding. I couldn’t be more pleased and will definitely be ordering from them again. Highly recommended!
