Toilets are clean. Staff very friendly. Had a good wait between courses. Food was ok. Had monkfish scampi dish. Plate was wet in middle which made the fish soggy. 4 pieces. Load of chips. Which had tartar sauce and mary rose sauce in small bowls. Price 28 euros for main course.

Went for Sunday lunch with partner on Sunday 27/04/25
What a great experience
Partner had home made vegetables soup with homemade brown bread
Soup was lovely and hot bread was delicious
She also had roast beef and it was so soft just melted in mouth
Great generous portions
I had traditional fish and chips
Just superb again generous portions and served with lovely salad
Most impressed overall
Thank you Rory and the great polite staff
Will definatly be back

Staff excellent and very helpful, only problem paying twice, just thought that it should have been picked up on the system, especially with the number of the table showing up twice on payment, once the error was pointed out the staff were very apologetic and helpful.

Always so nice to eat at Glandore. The service was very long, that's the only problem

I was really looking forward to visiting the Glandore Inn with my family, but unfortunately, our experience didn’t live up to expectations. When we arrived, there were plenty of tables available, including a window table that we specifically asked for so we could enjoy the lovely views. However, we were told no because the table could seat six or seven people, and we were a family of four. Instead, we were placed at a table in the back, right next to the dishwasher. The constant noise of dishes being smashed made it hard to enjoy our meal.
What made it even more frustrating was that the window table stayed empty the entire time we were there. It wasn’t reserved, and it was only filled as we were leaving—by a family of five, no less. I don’t understand why we couldn’t have been seated there in the first place, especially since there were plenty of other tables available when we arrived. It felt unfair and unnecessary.
I really think tables should be seated on a first-come, first-served basis unless they’re reserved. It’s disappointing when something as simple as seating can take away from what could have been a great experience. Hopefully, this is something they’ll reconsider in the future.

We just had dinner there... first of all our booked table was at the entrance of the toilet.. we asked for an other table and they were very accommodating. We got a nicer table... the main course was nice. Panfried hake. But the dessert.... a week before we stopped here for coffee and cake and everything was delicious. This time I ordered the same dessert.... it did not even look like what we got previously... I ordered fresh fruit roulade. The week before it was homemade, full of flavour, melting in the mouth. Tonight it was 2 cheap meringue nests sticked together with a bit of flavourless cream and strawberry from lidl... when I complained about it at the till, they still made me pay for it.
