Was back in beautiful Connemara for my amazing beautiful nanny Mary Fallon s funeral we had the wake here want say thanks very much for the outstanding service and food by all the staff the beef was the best I have ever eaten and the staff were so welcoming and friendly,beautiful location will definitely be going back when I come over to visit my family in Cashel and clifden Connemara 🙏🇮🇪💚🙏

On the Carna road, lost deep in Connemara, in a stunning setting, we go there regularly as neighbors. Great place. Very warm welcome. Varied and top-notch food. It can get crowded at times.

Well located spot on the corner of two roads overlooking the bay. Good parking, home cooked food, friendly local vibe and lots of Gaeilge being spoken. Good place to replenish if exploring this stunning area of Connemara.

Food was absolutely perfect portions were big soup delicious dessert so nice staff very very friendly polite and helpful. Place was clean we all had plenty of space... we weren't on top of each other very busy I'd book be on safe side. Will def come back again

Beautiful location with magnificent views over peaceful southern Connemara. The staff is very friendly, we spoke for a long time with the manager who is local and who will be delighted to tell you the history of the surrounding area and answer all your questions For the cuisine, let's say that as French it surprised us a little but remains correct, we are not in Ireland for their cuisine

Berehaven Lodge

10/10/2025: I spent 3 days here for a family reunion. Booking was easy and check in was even easier with it all organised before arrival. I stayed in a pod. I was cute and cosy with everything you would need for your stay. The location was so beautiful and having your own beach with stroll along was great. The only thing that would have made this even better was if the restaurant was open. Honestly if it was we would have dined there every day. Thankfully castletownbere wasn't far away to get something to ear. I will definitely return.

Olde Post Inn

28/10/2025: My husband and I had the best culinary experience in all of Ireland here. And I truly mean it was a wonderful experience, not just a meal. The staff were friendly and attentive, the service was at a relaxed pace, and each course was beautifully curated (both flavours and presentation). The dining space was cozy but spacious too, so it felt intimate. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough!
17/08/2025: Delicious food, relaxed setting, fabulous use of local produce, lovely friendly staff, its my favourite restaurant!
