Stax Town is a beautiful golf course set up in the Dublin Mountains with amazing views over Dublin Bay. Certainly worth a visit and if you visit once you'll be back again.

Had a quick lunch and coffee there. Course was closed due to floods. Certainly a golf course for excersise.

Played 18 holes with temporary greens. Fee was reduced to 10€ so very good value. It’s a challenge for all handicaps. Facilities are top notch. Pro shop very friendly.

10/04/2026: Excellent hotel the food was delicious reasonably priced too and staff we're very friendly I cannot fault anything except that a wet chair would have been handy or a hoist for the pool
09/04/2026: Excellent hotel, it was very clean, the food and staff were amazing and very friendly. I would highly recommend it. The pool and gym are very well managed and spotless clean. Only suggestion I would have would be to make the pool area more wheelchair friendly. It needs a hoist and a wet chair for showering wheelchair users. I will definitely be back.

16/12/2025: Jared and Elaine are the literal best. If you're ever passing through, you would be so blessed and lucky to get to stop at this pub and have a taste of heaven with some of the best craic you could ever wish for. As someone who has traveled Ireland extensively, I can honestly say that this is one of the best pubs, with THE best food. Do yourselves a favor and go out of your way to stop by.
23/11/2025: Well worth stopping in here for the fantastic food. Will be visiting again.
