Great meal at Glynsk House! Had the battered prawns and the pork curry special, both really tasty, plus a cocktail to finish. Service was quick and Prabath was so helpful. Would definitely recommend!

The starter was good. The curry I had for the main was very dark and spicy although it was advertised as mild. I can't handle spicy. A piece of nan bread and maybe a small onion bahji would have greatly improved the presentation as would a pot of mango chutney. I did get some but had to ask. They should check out coynes down the road. I wish them success as there are not many places to eat out in Connemara but a few touches here and there would improve things.

Wishing the best to the new owners. It's great to see a local business keep the doors open. I had a fantastic steak here tonight, the black sole last week was fantastic too. Looking forward to seeing what other specials the guys in the kitchen can come up with over the summer.

We visited on a cold Saturday evening and were greeted by a warm fire and very welcoming host. I had the Lebanese starter and Sri Lankan chicken curry- prepared by the Sri Lankan chef. Delicious. Well worth a stop if you’re touring beautiful Connemara.

We had a delicious meal at Glynsk house. There were 3 vegans in our group and the chef prepared 3 different vegan options which were fabulous. The service was very friendly and the room is very cosy and comfortable. Highly recommended.

Excellent fresh food for a very fair price! Great and friendly service! Definitely a recommendation! Fresh local fish and fresh veggies cooked to perfection for way under 20€

The food was steaming hot and the chips crispy, Fried Chicken not greasy no dripping oil outside crispy inside chicken is soft, not dry from frozen one and the pizza were perfect,no soggy base. A special shout-out to the NEW Delivery Driver—he was brilliantly polite, arrived ahead of schedule, and handled the food with care,no spill no mess,food still steaming hot at my door . It’s rare to get such friendly and professional service at your door. Will definitely be back!

06/04/2026: Ballynona House is a charming house that makes you feel like you're in a movie. The host was lovely from the very first moment; she enjoys interacting with her guests and getting to know them better. She also has a super friendly little dog who loves being petted. During our stay, we slept in a spacious, clean, and tidy room with its own bathroom. We had a key to lock the door, and the host provided us with the kitchen utensils to prepare dinner, as we arrived late. In the morning, we went down to the kitchen, where she had breakfast ready for us with a wide variety of options. While we ate, we enjoyed the sunshine and the lush green garden views through the large kitchen windows. It was a wonderful experience. The most special accommodation of our stay in Ireland.
