Golden Elephant in Cork

I ordered take out . Papaya salad , red curry chicken and jasmine rice . Food was beautiful 10/10 and the guy serving was very helpful and friendly . Thanks 🙏

The best Thai restaurant in Cork in my opinion. The food is incredibly authentic and offers fantastic value for money. There's a great variety of vegetarian and vegan options, with some main dishes available with tofu – the sizzling peppercorn tofu is a standout! They even have a vegan mango sticky rice dessert, which is a perfect way to finish the meal. On a side note, the coffee ice cream is advertised as vegan on their website, but they use dairy milk to bind it apparently (if you ask in person). The place is always busy (for good reason), so I definitely recommend making a reservation in advance. Situated upstairs.

This restaurant has something truly special – a wonderful lady from the Thailand who prepares incredibly delicious food. Her passion and authenticity really shine through in every dish. It made for a fantastic dining experience.

I absolutely loved this place! The food was fresh absolutely delicious. The owners are incredibly kind and welcoming; you can really feel the care they put into both the food and the atmosphere. One of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. Highly recommend!

En varias visitas a Golden Elephant, tengo muchas comidas deliciosas. El restaurante está dirigido por un propietario y chef tailandés, que se enorgullece de ofrecer platos auténticos de su tierra natal. Muchos restaurantes tailandeses en Irlanda dependen de salsas cremosas y dulces y curry para sus platos. Golden Elephant ofrece la experiencia más cercana a los sabores picantes, fogosos y salados de la comida tailandesa real que se puede obtener aquí. Algunos de mis platos favoritos son la ensalada de mega mango y lubina, un pollo caliente cegador de albahaca tailandesa, carne de comino perfumada, delicioso mango y postre de arroz pegajoso y magnífico pollo revuelto de anacardo - freír. Best Thai food I've had in a long time, I've recently moved into the area and I've eaten here or gotten takeaway almost every week since, their curries are up there with some of the best I've ever had outside of Thailand.

The most delicious food I have had in a very long time- we got the Thai green curry, udon noodles, spring rolls and fried rice- BEST EVER.

Hermoso pequeño restaurante - la comida es absolutamente delicioso y el propietario hace todo fresco y desde cero - el personal muy amable y es solo una joya escondida. El único negativo menor menor es que está muy iluminado - preferiría una iluminación ligeramente más baja solo para hacer el ambiente aún más agradable!
