I was there 10 years ago or so for valentine day for 1st year marriage anniversary and today we go again which was 10th wedding anniversary and I need to say was same as 10 years ago the green curry and coconut rice which cost extra now but was worth to add 5€ duck was super crisp we was full after starter and maybe half of that was we order owner was so worried that we don’t like his food but we was full he offered to get food take away we was so happy that we can take this food home because is worth every penny to pay keep going lads food is best

Golden Elephant in Douglas is a fantastic spot for authentic Thai food, with a simple yet incredibly flavourful menu. The Tom Yum soup was outstanding and packed with bold taste. The spicy peppercorn wok fry and the ginger tofu & veg stir-fry were absolutely delicious, and the udon noodles were perfectly cooked and very satisfying. The food is worth every penny—especially the pineapple fried rice, which was excellent! The service truly stands out too. The staff are warm and welcoming, and Fang takes the time to explain dishes and genuinely listens to customers, which makes the whole experience even better. Highly recommend! 😊🍍🍜

Still exceptional 👍 Have not been here for years as moved away from city. Remains one of the best places to eat and worth the drive into Cork, all tables full on a Tuesday which is a good sign. Every dish cooked and presented perfectly

This was a great find! We were craving for authentic asian cuisine and found it here! The tom yum, pad thai and fried chicken are to die for! Will be coming back soon to ease tom yum cravings!!

Where should I start? For someone who has been in Thailand a couple of times, I find this restaurant the best Thai restaurant in Ireland by far. First and foremost, the owner and staff are absolutely brilliant, very welcoming, and super nice, and they will definitely help you with great suggestions if you don't know where to start. I am particularly obsessed with their green thai curry with vegetables and tofu, so well cooked, full of flavour, aromatic, and absolutely exquisite. I also love their papaya salad to start with something fresh, but bear in mind it is quite spicy, which, by the way, I absolutely love! Their spring rolls are good, too. Last but not least, if you are a fan of soup, you should definitely give thai soups a go. They are very special and nothing that you would expect. The Tom Yam soup is vibrant, fresh, full of flavour, and again spicy. When it comes to drinks, I really like I can find a truly thai beer, Singha, a pale larger beer, and also enjoy a Lychee drink, similar taste to a strawberry or pear with a hint of citrus and rose. Honestly, it is my favourite restaurant in Cork. I could eat there every single day. Their food is just mouth-watering!!!!
