13/08/2024: Best swordfish I have eaten anywhere. And in a friendly local Irish pub. Pretty normal menu. No, actually quite surprising, Thai green curry for example as well as usual Suspects. But the swordfish on the daily specials was exceptional. And as I am gluten free they kindly swapped the couscous out and relaxed with chips. The mango (!) and tomato salad went well too. Limited wine list (it is a country pub after all). And a lovely village and beach to go with it.
02/08/2024: Good value for food staff lovely expect one fella who just seemed to hate his job but other then that it’s good value they don’t reserve tables was told yet when I landed one evening there was tables reserved

M & J Restaurant

15/01/2025: Totally LOVE M&J, First time we found this please was when heading back from ferry to Killarney, They where closed, it was like 6am? But as I was gazing through the window Mick ( Spelling? ) let all 7 of us in, and since then M&J's is a must for breakfast when heading past! M even went to the trouble of getting Mac n Cheese for my daughter..he left his place, woke the opposite store and helped himself, and came back and proudly announced I have got it, so you can have it! Amazing
26/08/2024: Cant beat de m&j breakfast weekly ritual 🙌 staff are very good and bring a good buzz& atmosphere 👌what more could ya ask for cosy homely restaurant
