Had a very tasty takeaway there earlier in the week. As good as any Chinese takeaway I've been in before.

The Moy Hotel

19/09/2025: Didn't stay overnight, hence my blank comment on rooms. Convenient and friendly and excellent quality food. Only complaint was no salmon in the net🐳
06/09/2025: Visited today for dinner had the Cod&Chips. Absolutely delecious. Nice large portion off fish, fresh tarture sauce, mushy peas, and amazing crunchy salad. The only minus was the chips. They were french fries and skimpy and made the dish look small. I would rather eat home cut chips (that bit larger and more appeasing on the plate). But no complaints on taste. I had the cheesecake desert, 10 out off 10 delightful. Overall the food was 5 star and the staff friendly, well presented, and professional. Lovely relaxed atmosphere bright airy and clean. Overall 10 out off 10 for me. I will be back.

The Old Salt Coffee

19/12/2025: Great cafe, great service, and most importantly, they have acai bowls (a little chance to remember Brazil in Ireland)
24/10/2025: Can't resist stopping off here for a coffee when I'm passing through, what a hidden little gem. The taste is in a word 'perfect' (every time). The staff are cheerful and attentive, as soon as you walk in its unmistakable and adds a real personal element. A made to order cappuccino costs €3.50 which I would consider underpriced for what your getting "but shhhhh, don't tell anyone". You'll notice them take a bit more care and time than some of the larger chains and you can definitely taste the difference in your drink. If you have your own coffee machine you can buy a bag of coffee and I can honestly say its the nicest coffee I've found so far and I've tried a lot, branded as 'SUNDAY' it's a medium roasted Aribica/Robusta washed blend and a 1kg bag costs €30 and considering the best tasting supermarket coffee I could fund was Lavazza @ €25 it was well worth the extra €5 but a professional barista will always win when it comes to a taste test. Try it once and prove me wrong, I DARE YA!
