Grapevine in Dublin

This was our third visit to Grapevine and we left a little disappointed with the food. We ordered the artichoke risotto and the seafood linguine. Both were very bland, lacked salt and other spices that would have given it more flavour. The portion of the risotto was quite small, I was still hungry afterwards. Considering everything it felt overpriced. Service was great, as always.

Exceptional food and service, the waiter highlighted there was a service charge which was greatly appreciated.

We had such a gorgeous lunch date. The welcome and service makes you feel so well taken care of. Food is seriously delicious. Next time need to go for dinner so we can have more wine. We left feeling really happy and Christmassy. Really recommend for a date, on your own or even a bigger party. Thank you and see you soon.

Excellent evening at the Grapevine. Very professional and friendly staff. I was very pleasantly surprised by the variety of their menu. The wine list was amazing as you may expect from their wine business. The octupus starter was absolutely delicious, as good as you would get in a high quality mediterranean restaurant. The sole was equally as good. Overall a wonderful experience. Well done to all the team at the Grapevine for a thoroughly enjoyable evening.

We enjoyed a lovely meal at The Grapevine while staying in a nearby hotel for a few days. The service and food were both great, including the vegetarian option. The cheeseboard for dessert was a delight. It would have been more atmospheric if there were more diners, but it was a Sunday evening in October.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Culinary Delight! From the moment I walked in, we were was greeted with warm smiles help with the buggy, and exceptional service that set the tone for a perfect lunch. The highlight of my meal was undoubtedly the mackerel. It was incredibly fresh, with a delicate flavor. And a delicate crisping. Memories of freshly caught mackerel cooked on Killiney beach in my childhood! Each bite was a testament to the quality of the ingredients and the skill in the kitchen. Next up were the prawns were well sauced, and divine. The kids pasta topped with Parmesan was delicious too! The service throughout my meal was impeccable. The staff were attentive without being intrusive. If you’re looking for simple food cooked to perfection, I highly recommend the Grapevine 1 It’s a gem that truly showcases the best of fresh seafood and culinary expertise. I can’t wait to return for another delightful meal! Thank you!

My wife and I had dinner here on Saturday and found the food, service and atmosphere to be top class. We’re locals and hadn’t visited Grapevine in a while. The seafood was delicious and our Croatian waiter was so friendly. We felt very well looked after and will be back!
