Great India in Portarlington

My husband and I both love this restaurant: whether to eat in or take out, the quality of the food is top notch. The menu is extensive, and the prices are very reasonable for the portions given. The restaurant dining area is very cosy, dimly lit, but that adds to the atmosphere, as does the music. I think it's a pity that the dining area isn't full every night, but I feel that's partly due to the location (lovely though it is, being situated on the historic French Church Street), and the still-lingering after effects of Covid. The takeaway part is always busy, and there is a delivery or pick up option. If you love authentic Indian food, cooked well, and sold in decent-sized portions, then I recommend that you get yourself to The Great India for a treat for which your taste buds will thank you!
