Hang Dai in Dublin

Managed to get squeezed on a busy weekend by the lovely host. Service was great, food was unreal + veggie options were delicious.

Was recently traveling thru Dublin and decided to try Hang Dai after hearing coworkers talk about it. I didn’t make a reservation and sat at the bar with a friend. We could not get a table even though there were plenty booths available at the time we arrived. I wanted to try a whiskey and the waitress recommended Connamera which the bartender later came and told me they did not have. He made another recommendation Waterford which was fine, although I later noticed after leaving I was charged for BOTH drinks so check your bills before paying. I’m a big fan of oysters but the Rockefellers fell short for me. We had prawns and chicken dishes for our entrees which were satisfactory. Pretty late into our meal at the bar I was about to order a second drink when the waitress came and told us we needed to wrap it up and leave within 10 minutes because they needed the seats. Mind you there were still open booths available. I thought maybe there was a line of people waiting up front to be seated. Upon leaving I saw that was not the case. I’ve traveled and eaten at restaurants all over the world and never been so rushed to leave. It ultimately left a bad taste in my mouth and although the atmosphere and music was really nice, I’d recommend management revisit how customers are treated.

Such good food, try the Tuna!!!

Food was amazing. Staff were all extremely helpful in helping us throw a surprise 40th last night. Our waiter Tiernan was the bomb. He looked after over 20 of us pretty much solo and we were never wanting for anything. Genuinely best waiter I've seen in years with an amazing attitude and nothing was a problem for him.

My first time in this restaurant was with some friends so we ordered different plates and shared them, the food was delicious and enough between us, affordable prices if you are sharing.

Lead top your table and enter a cyberpunk world! The atmosphere is incredible and an experience you'll never forget. But it's so much more than that! It's a fantastic theme restaurant with incredible food. Everything we had was absolutely delicious and so much more interesting than the standard Chinese restaurant you normally see in Europe. The plates are perfect for sharing, so you can try all the different flavors. We had two starters and two main dishes for two people, and we still had room for more! We didn't even have space for dessert, even though they sounded incredible. Instead, we had some amazing cocktails. You've got to try them! I highly recommend making a reservation because you won't want to miss out!

The variety of gluten free options is not huge, however, the lady was so kind and she pointed out what on the menu was or could be made gf. We had a grilled teriyaki chicken (gf sauce) and an incredible tomahawk. I wish I could have gf noodles but everything was lovely. We’ll be back soon again!

What a great meal, we went last night I had Bao bun with Wagyu beef and kung po chicken + noodles, my friend had pork dumplings and the seabass with chilli/oil. All these dishes were so tasty. Actually the noodles we agreed were so good you could eat them alone and be very happy. Good service too, we'll be back very soon.

Delicious food with a great atmosphere. Not like your traditional Chinese. The staff were outstanding. The food was exceptional with dumplings and Kung po being the standout.
