Surprising pub with extensive dining area in rural location accessible to Nebbridge and Kildare. Owner ooerated. Good quality food at reasonable price.

We had such a a lovely meal here , better than I had expected. The potato skins were so tasty and the cod was cooked beautifully. Would definitely come back again. The staff were all very friendly and efficient. Such a hidden gem.

This is my absolute favorite restaurant in Ireland. I have been here 3 times on different occasions and every single time the food and service have been out of this world. Itโ€™s hard to find food that tastes so fresh & favorable and staff so hospitable. The fact that staff has remained constant over the past year I have come here is a sign in itself. My partner and I travel from Switzerland and also my mother based in Germany wonโ€™t stop talking about dinner here. Highly recommend you come see for yourself!

I can only describe this pub as a great find. Dropped in here today for some lunch not knowing what to expect. It was excellent. The food is delicious. Everything we had was sumptuous and left us wanting more (which we unfortunately didnโ€™t have room for). The hospitality and service were super as well, these people have the balance right between informality and a job well done. Prices may not suit everyone but if you can at all, do yourself a favour and go here. Highly recommended.

Saratoga

16/03/2024: We are a couple in a Motorhome. First off is that the Saratoga Bar were happy for us to park in the car park as we were having a meal & a few drinks! There are more & more bars around Ireland that are doing this which is great! Anyway, they have just started up with their new menu & we weren't disappointed. I think it's the first time both of us have said WOW to a meal in a bar in a very long time! Absolutely 10/10 & very reasonable. Really lovely staff as well. I had the boneless half chicken with polenta chips & my partner had the special which was pan fried hake. Definitely somewhere we'll come back to. Oh & the tiramisu "cappuccino"... DIVINE!!
