Happy House Chinese in Tramore

New setup now doing fish and chips with more regular opening hours. We had 2 different fish n chips with bottle of house white, 1 dessert & 1 coffee for €83. Was it worth it? Well the food was really good so top marks for that. However the place is devoid of warmth and feel good factor. The warm welcome was non- existent from the man in the hatch that checked us in. The decor is cold and the attempt at being a cool casual quirky place just doesn’t work. It’s basically an eat and go fish n chips setup which might suit the owners …… but not the customers. Oh and €33 for house wine in a cafe is taking the ….

Great seafood restaurant in centre of Tramore town, great options with regards starters - we got three as wanted to try Oysters and they were a great entrée. Mainly white wines to accompany mains work well too. Service was excellent, lovely French lady was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Starters and mains were just light enough to fit in dessert also, very rare I'd eat so much. Nice ambience too
