Harry's in Malahide

Harry's had a strange atmosphere. The owner/manager seemed to be micromanaging the staff and they were almost too attentive to us. Our food was okay. Nice presentation, good authentic food, but lacking in seasoning. For the price, you could find somewhere better. We weren't wowed. There was also a dog inside which seemed to belong to one of the staff. It barked during our meal and jumped at my wife on the way out and began barking as we left. There shouldn't be animals in a food establishment, nor should they be offputting to people. Edit to add, since the restaurant responded to my review: there was no salt and pepper on our table, nor were we offered any. I also make a habit of trying not to add any seasonings at the table, preferring to appreciate the meal as the chef intended it to taste. In this case, it was not incredibly flavourful.

From the moment we arrived we loved everything. We enjoyed some fabulous food with calamari, flatbread, arancini, scallops all Washed down with a. Beautiful bottle of Duoro and Grace was a lovely friendly front of house who was happy to make recommendations. We will be back for more 😍🍾

Had a brilliant date night at Harry’s of Malahide, easily one of the best restaurants in North Dublin for tapas and pasta, wine, and atmosphere. The vibe was relaxed but had a real buzz, perfect for a night out without feeling too formal. Staff were genuinely welcoming, and the service was spot on. We had the risotto and prawns, both absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. If you’re looking for a romantic spot in Malahide or just great food, I’d highly recommend it. Can’t wait to go back.

Had a selection of small plates ,cheese board and dessert washed down with a nice Albariño. The staff were very pleasant and informative the restaurant is small and seems very popular,prices are on the expensive side . I can recommend and would return.

Such a cosy little place! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and you can really taste the care that goes into the food. Everything is made with fresh, local ingredients and the staff are super friendly and clearly passionate about what they do. A great find if you’re after something relaxed, local, and full of flavour.

I went to Harry’s recently with friends and it was a phenomenal dining experience. From the moment we stepped inside, we were greeted with a warm, inviting atmosphere that made us feel right at home. The staff are incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about their menu, offering expert recommendations on both food and wine. The food was delicious. Every bite is a testament to the quality of ingredients and the skill of the chefs. Whether it’s the perfectly whipped feta, the rich and flavourful beef ragu, or the perfectly cooked scallops, each plate is crafted with care and bursting with flavour. And not forgetting the wine selection—exceptional range of choices and something for everyone's taste. Harry’s is intimate, cozy, and effortlessly charming. We will definitely be returning and I would highly recommend it for a memorable evening of fantastic food, great wine, and impeccable service.

We enjoyed the most beautiful meal last night at Harry’s . We didn’t have a booking but the very friendly staff welcomed us and found us a table. We had a wonderful selection of sharing plates such as calamari, patatas bravas, boquerones, scallops , arancini balls and shared a Tiramisu. We were served by Amanda and she was so attentive even though the restaurant was full. Austin the sommelier was so spot on with his recommendations giving me a new appreciation for wines I would never have picked by myself ! We can’t wait to go back . Huge compliments to the chef and all the team for an amazing dining experience. We never feel rushed at Harry’s and it’s the perfect place to have a really relaxing night .
