The musicians on 19-20 July 2025 were superb. Very enjoyable music and singing. Would be back if it's just to hear them.
I had the fish and chips and swapped chips for onion rings which took a star off. Fish was fresh and batter crispy.
We had a lovely lunch today. Massive thanks to Mairead who was our server for all her recommendations, courtesy, and humour. It was a pleasure having her look after us.
They have a very good lunch menu, with options for everyone, including a very good kids menu. We ended up going for a burger, the fish cakes, and the fish and chips - all amazing, but the fish and chips was the star of the show.

The bar food was lovely and had a great menu. We ended up going there three times; however, every time we went there, and this happened to every other table as well, the food always arrived before any drinks. Had to ask for water and where our drinks were. It took about 10 mins for the food to come out, which is brilliant; however, 10 mins after the food arrived, still no drinks. Had to ask staff every time for the drinks. I wouldn't say anything if this only happened once, but every time we visited, this happened; it also happened to every other table.
