Terrific experience. Took family of five(5) here for lunch on a Tuesday. I'm quite picky and particular but I found the food was excellent and the staff we're really great too. The kids loved their food and desserts were also a major hit (the sticky toffee pudding was amazing). The interior decor was tasteful and fitting with the surroundings of the Gap of Dunloe. The restrooms were very clean. I'd go back here in a heartbeat. Bought a nice sweatshirt at the adjoining store after lunch. Five stars.

Absolutely delightful with the super fresh flavors and ingredients! Their greenhouses are just down the hill so it’s practically farm to table!

Found this place as a last minute option for our large party, and they were well able to accommodate us. Very attentive service, one person in our party had allergies and they were easily able to alter dishes to suit them. Food was also delicious!

4 stars because there aren't any vegan options. If you take the potato cakes and eggs off the veggie irish plate, I think it would be vegan (?), but i can't confirm. The coffee is fantastic, and the rest of the food looks great. Good prices, convenient location, decent parking if you get there early. It's also attached to a small gift shop, and the bathrooms are clean.

We went back to this place every day while in the area. Their coffee was the best we’ve had in Europe. Amazing scones and other baked goods.

Heather Café is a real Irish treasure. Nestled in a stunning setting, it’s the kind of place where you instantly feel at home. The food is fresh, hearty, and beautifully presented — perfect after a morning exploring the countryside. Their brown bread is top-notch, and the coffee is just what you need to warm up on a misty Irish day. The staff are kind, welcoming, and full of local charm, happy to chat or offer a recommendation. Whether you’re a visitor passing through or a local regular, Heather Café is a must-visit for great food and even better atmosphere.
