Heffernans in Ballina

05/03/2025: A great hotel undergoing a remodel. The beds are superbly comfortable, as are the pillows. Guest has access to a leisure club facility. Cons: We could not get our shower to turn warm. Luckily, there was a bath option. To use the pool, guests are required to buy a swim cap for €4 each, and children are not permitted after 7 p.m. Overall, I would book again.

23/02/2025: They are going through renovations, so give them the benefit. Saying that, they have the friendliest staff going. Loads of space in the rooms. Great value. Bar food was fantastic. Pool was basic, but spot on for my family. Decent distance from town. We look forward to returning when the works are complete.
