Rang to reserve a table but was told they don't take bookings ..but yet there was tables reserved Some staff really nice Very busy as it was Easter Sunday Lamb was on the menu but very tough Curry fab Beef lovely Great portions

I booked McMahons Celbridge for a Company Christmas lunch for 35 guests Dec-2023. The food was fresh and wholesome and very generous portion sizes. We had the private function room which was perfect for enjoying some festive games post lunch. The service was stellar - John Higgins, General Manager, took the initial reservation request and he went above and beyond to make our event a success dealing very graciously with some special requests; on the day, Monica Yvonne and Mathew took really great care of us :) I would not hesitate to recommend McMahons Celbridge!

It says on the door something to the effect of "Max Capacity 300". Well they could have fitted another 298 into it after myself and the Mrs arrived at lunchtime on a midweek day. Very well kept, nice food, lots and lots of parking and handy for both Celbridge and Maynooth.

25/02/2024: Went here for the 1st time and can’t say I’ll be back. The pub itself is cosy and feels like a real Irish pub with a bit of a modern update. The prices were fair and the food was nice but the service wasn’t the best. The staff were friendly but not on the ball at all. The food took about an hour to come out including a baby bowl. It wasn’t even busy so we weren’t expecting to be waiting that long. Then the waitress forgot to bring fries. As soon as the food was dropped off at our table she ran off. Normally the staff ask is there anything else but this wasn’t asked. I tried asking one of the waiters for the fries but after calling him 3 times he just walked straight past me. Didn’t bother asking again. Based on service alone I won’t be back and family I was with said the same.
