Herbert Park Hotel in Dublin

I love everything about this place. Just everything. Perfect. Lovely. Quality. Location. Clean and best of all they do not use perfumes or scented “air fresheners”. I was so happy here. Thank you!

Business meeting, great experience

I really enjoyed my stay at the Herbert Park Hotel in Dublin. The reception and overall service were outstanding, and I especially liked the beautiful lobby on the first floor. My room was clean and comfortable, with a nice desk and furniture, plus an espresso machine with six capsules, a really nice touch! The only thing I didn’t love was the carpet, which felt a bit outdated. The breakfast was okay, and the location next to Herbert Park is perfect for a morning walk. Overall, I’d definitely recommend this hotel to friends visiting Dublin.

The hotel is located in the embassy district, away from the hustle and bustle, but still close to the city center. The rooms are spacious and clean. Our bathroom only had a shower, although all the others we could see from the hallway during cleaning had bathtubs. One star deducted for the pathetic takeaway breakfast we requested during a day trip. I felt it was too little for the money, as it only included two pieces of fruit and a muffin.

We were contemplating to stay more central location or Herbert Park Hotel till the last moment, and were glad with our final decision. It is a bit away from the downtown, yet maybe due to the distance, quiet and peaceful. We walked to the downtown, which took less than 30 min. There is a nice beach nearby and was perfect for my morning run. Also, there was a farmer's market at the park on Sundays! The room was spacious, so as the bathroom. I liked the nice deep bathtub. We stayed mostly at B&Bs during our trip to Ireland. Luckily it was not too hot, yet when we were back to Dublin, A/C in the room was a nice addition.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The staff were very kind and helpful, and we were given a complimentary upgrade. We hope to be back soon!

I was quite pleased with the hotel, rooms, service, and overall experience. We walked downtown (about 30 minutes) from here. It was good, a nice way to finish up our visit to Ireland.

This hotel is amazing the reception staff at Are so welcoming the smiles are beautiful, The food is excellent 👌 Really the staff all over are beautiful cannot fault anything. Handy to get bus and go to Dublin. Always come away feeling refreshed and are made to feel very important people. Thanku everyone, from Elaine & Alastair, and to Karol for our welcome back plate!

We went to the café to enjoy some ice cream. Unfortunately, the ice cream cupboard was bare for the dog ice cream. Otherwise the Homosapians’ ice cream was really quite good. Therefore, I will give it four stars. Sadly, my dog will only give it one.
