Herbstreet in Dublin

It’s the second time I go for lunch to this place, the waiters are very kind. I want to mention the great attention from Malaka, one of the waiters. I will come back for sure.

With beautiful dock lists and excellent food. Very powerful Irish breakfast. A bit overpriced for what they offer.

We had the nicest experience in Herbstreet yesterday, both in terms of food and service!! On arriving, I realised that I had accidentally booked a table for 2, rather than 3. This was made more complicated by the fact that I had booked during the busy lunch period and there was a queue of people looking for tables. The host was very understanding and gracious, and organised a table to fit the three of us. He had good craic about it too, which put us all at ease! The food was absolutely delicious! All the main courses and desserts we had were fresh and tasty and everyone left very satisfied!! Very well priced for what we had too!! Overall a really positive experience in Herbstreet and I highly recommend it! Will definitely be back for more of the delicious food and great craic with the staff!

Went there for a weekend brunch. Owner is kind enough to get us a table outdoor without advance booking. Food especially pancakes is amazinggg! Their beans I had seam like it’s not from a can - which is great and unique! Coffee is ok. Service is perfect - even though it was a very busy day! Told them we were there to celebrate a birthday and they got us a cheese cake and even sang birthday song! Would definitely be back for their service and food! Would recommend to book in advance!

We had lunch here before going to the theatre on Saturday. Lovely location, fast, friendly service and lovely food. I definitely recommend booking as it was very busy. I’d absolutely go again.

This is a busy spot. You need to reserve. The staff are friendly but a little scattered. Food is good but not amazing and for brunch, the portions are a little on the small side. They have an outside area which is a little optimistic given the weather - we got rained on. Not their fault but it did not add to the experience.
