Herbstreet in Dublin

Best french toast Ive ever had. Order the pecan butter + banana french toast. It was so good. I also had the waffles but the french toast hands down was the winner dish for me. The service was quick & friendly.

Menu quite small but food was lovely. Pasta of the day was delicious. Prices quite reasonable.

Wow what a place. Superb. Delicious food and amazing friendly service. Will definitely go back. If you’re going to see anything in Bord Gais, pop into Herbtreet first but do book it very popular as it should be. Special mention to Jon. Excellent server.

Very nice and bright atmosphere and delicious food. I got the herbstreet combo with smoked salmon and it was really tasty. The location is amazing and the place faces on the canal. They don’t have a coffee menu that can be a limit but overall the experience has been great.

Fabulous food and drink menu, although it’s worthy to note that the restaurant does get very very noisy which can make it difficult to hear. If this is an issue for you maybe picking a table in the front section or outside would be beneficial. Overall, excellent service with staff who go above and beyond to create a fantastic visit for every and all customers.

It was good years ago. My last 3 visits i felt the quality of food and service dropped. I hope they focus on being nicer and better quality of food. Maybe they har a bad day on my visit I'm not sure. But they are a good shout as the area is also limited.

Handy restaurant for pre theater food

Wonderful brunch spot, get the French toast.

Great service, great food. I have been living in Ireland for over 15 years and find this the best brunch / lunch restaurant consistently. Staff is friendly, service is quick, seats inside are very comfortable with the big windows that can open on warmer days and outside is also comfy on colder (not windy :p) days with blankets and heaters.
