Went for dinner before show in BGT. Fast service, food was lovely, the service was great from 3 or 4 staff, so nice, smiley and friendly especially Sadiya. Will be back.

A bit disappointing. It has beautiful seafront menus and excellent food. A hearty Irish breakfast.
But a bit overpriced for what they offer.

Visited Herbstreet before show at the Bord Gais. We sat outside and even though it was a little chilly, there were blankets on every chair and that made the experience much warmer! I had the chicken wings starter with a side of sweet potatoes wedges and I must admit, it was really good. Prices were very fair considering the location and the place was nicely busy with a good atmosphere around.

The place is quite busy, so you need to book a table. The food was tasty. I loved my warm chicken salad. I was so hungry that I didn’t even have time to take a photo, but the portion was generous enough. Just the juice glass is quite small, but at least it’s fresh and natural.

My adult children and I, had dinner here, prior to going to a show at An Bord Gáis. Firstly I need to commend the service. Our servers were friendly and helpful, and nothing was too much trouble. Secondly, the food was well presented and delicious. There were several choices on the menu that we would have been happy to try, and the drinks menu had a nice selection of wines and cocktails.
I had a chicken wings starter, while the others had halumi fries and a prawn dish. They were all delicious.
As a main course two of us had moules and fries, and my daughter had a pasta dish. Should one complain if the servings are too big? Probably not. The only thing that could have improved this was some bread to sop up the sauces. The desserts again were lovely, though we all agreed that my son's sticky toffee pudding was the star of the show. Our other choices were an American cheesecake and ice cream.
We had a lovely bottle of Albarino and a cocktail each and finished the meal with a coffee. Nothing to complain about there either.
We ate indoors, but the outside looked equally cosy, with rugs being provided on each chair. I thought this a lovely touch.
Altogether a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

-The location isn't too bad, with a terrace.
-The price is clearly too high considering the quality and quantity. You'll find much better, more generous breakfasts for less.
-Slow service.

The service was pretty dreadful tbh. Sporadic attention, forgotten drinks, we left a tip but it wasn’t for the service. The food is good, with vegan and veggie options, but their service team need to up their game, it wasn’t even busy when we were there.

Found this restaurant recommended via Open Table app & prebooked for 530 as it was a Saturday evening & we were heading to the Bord Gais theatre. This is right up the street from the theatre so really convenient. It doesn't have a massive menu but the options listed should suit most people. Service was friendly and quick. We shared the Chimichurri prawns for starter & both had the cod loin which came on a tomato smoky pancecca and white bean casserole. It was delicious!! We also ordered parmesan fries-a v big portion size that we couldn't finish!! No room for dessert so just had coffees. Restaurant got busy quickly & tables outside also filled up. I imagine it's v popular with theatre goers! Will go back!
