Good rule to have no phones in sight, reviving the old art of conversation!

Been to Cork twice before and can't believe I havent been here. It's a small bar up a flight of stairs. Was busy , quirky little place Signs saying no phones which I enjoyed ..my friend and I ended up sitting with 2 older men who made our night. They were hilarious, informative about local areas and where to visit. We bought each other drinks. Fabulous. Spent a couple of hours here. My friend left her bag which they kept behind the bar amd we collected it the next day..and stayed for a couple of drinks. One of my new favourite places in Cork ! No photos as I didn't use my phone !!

What a place, no phones (Ideal, talk to people Vs starring at a screen) Great conversation, great pints. My wife & I came in visiting from Canada. Andrew served the pints, provided great tips and stories. Paddy was at the bar (no play on words) He too was marvelous, stop by in the afternoon, its small but the characters and atmosphere make it feel 10 times larger than life. Cheers Andrew for a great time, say hi to Paddy the the meanie that was to my left, Luke & Julie!

Great pub no phones aloud everyone actually talks to one another.

It’s so disappointing that a place that’s so overtly anti technology uses ai for its menu and advertising…

This is must visit in Cork. Dont miss it

Not a food place. This pub has been a special iconic place in Cork city for many years, especially with locals who know the rules. 😅. That's what makes it special.

No food here and no phone too be used in the bar a very pleasant girl behind the bar good pint not dear for a city pub good a good vibe there

Jack, the bartender, loves making cocktails, so ask him for one and he'll improvise! 🙂 There's also a very nice collection of whiskies, and even though Jack doesn't drink them, he'll give you great recommendations. And you'll have a great time chatting with other people without your phone!
