Really lovely place to stay. Excellent hotel, staff are brilliant. Very very central. Could not fault it. It's so central and the views are stunning.

I was very happy with this hotel. It was in a great location in the centre of town with a view of the sea. I had a nice room with large windows and a comfortable bed. A quaint busy large dinner restaurant and bar, a great breakfast included. Parking is free on the streets. There is a wonderful large beach, a few steps from the hotel. A great place to stay if you’re visiting loop head lighthouse.

Gorgeous, spacious family room. Fantastic view as we were on the top floor. Restaurant on site, the small plates of sea food / other were excellent... crab claws, prawns, veg tempura, scampi and melted Brie. Centrally located ...Can walk to the beach, brilliant deli opposite selling freshly made sandwiches at reasonable prices.

Hotel with ocean view; Small but well-equipped room. The staff is very attentive. The restaurant serves very good food and the service is perfect. We even chat with the waitress after the service and get very good advice on where to visit.

We only had lunch at the Pub Restaurant of the Bayview Hotel. We both ordered Curry dishes: my wife the Vegan Curry and I had the Thai Chicken Curry. Both dishes were tasty but the Chicken one had nothing to do with Thai. It was more of an Indian Curry served with Naan (or an attempt to), chutney and rice. The dish was oddly also accompanied with french fries. The Cheesecake of the day was, as expected, Baileys but the taste was really subtle. Overall a good lunch.

I’ve been to Bay View Hotel in Kilkee a few times. I enjoyed their rooms with a perfect view on the beach, it was amazing to watch sunsets from my room. Hotel is located one minute away from the beach.
The food was okay, to be honest it wasn’t as good as i expected. The personal was polite and nice, but it took them much time to cook food for me and my family.

The hotel was in a great location , and the receptionist was lovely and very helpful . The room was quite large, which was a bonus, but they could do with a bigger tv if you were staying for any length of time .
