Ideal for a quick bite to eat or have a coffee, very good breakfast and at very reasonable prices. Plenty of parking spaces.

The chicken is good tbf,and so it should as that's what they are known for, portions of chips however are more suited to kids meals,perfect for a snack but don't expect to leave with a full belly,staff are mostly teens and the manager is a arrogant man at times,expect a long wait for large orders

Went to the place on a very busy June summer equinox late evening(sunny Sundays are rare in this country) . The EV chargers for once worked and the chicken tenders were fantastic. A long q due to probably various summer events so the place was buzzing at 10 :00 pm. Service was to the point. The only thing too much chips with the food. Nice space and a lot of tables. The toilets were relatively clean at that hour.

There was a time when I loved going to Hillbilly's in Cork City after a night out. The food was always tasty and at a reasonable price.I thought it would taste just as good here but there seems to have been a downgrade in the food quality. Still enjoyed the gravy send chips,pity other chippers don't offer this on the menu.The service is good and it is in a nice location.

16/06/2026: Fabulous food, always prepared fresh. The only decent place to eat in Fermoy
02/06/2026: The staff were happy, helpful and welcoming. The food was incredible: we are determined to try the mango salad at home and my potato and chorizo hash with poached eggs was incredible. This place was worth the find and I can't recommend it enough.

Bella Cafe

09/08/2026: We stayed in nearby Kilshannig House and came into Fermoy for dinner. There are no appealing dining options whatsoever in Fermoy for dinner besides Bella Cafe, so we tried it. The service was very nice and the food was tasty (delicious steak risotto particularly) but it was definitely more cafe than restaurant in terms of decor, the menus were tatty and overall decor needs a refresh. The servers were the highlight, and were knowledgeable about gluten free options, which is very important. I don't see any reason anyone would want to holiday in Fermoy but if you're passing through, or staying at Kilsgannig Court as we were, try the food at Bella Cafe.
